Sarah Sillers started Faith-First Singles because Genesis 2:18 still rings true: “It is not good that the man should be alone.”
Today roughly 40% of U.S. Christians ages 30-49 are single (Pew Research), and like so many of us, I grew tired of endless swiping and dating apps that never quite lined up with my faith.
Stop swiping! Jesus calls us to real, in-person family, not isolation. That’s why Faith-First exists: joyful, intentional events where genuine believers meet face-to-face with Him unmistakably first.

What age range is this for?
Primarily 30s–40s (30–49). We’ll have other mixers for 50s/60s soon — stay tuned!
Do you offer refunds?
All sales are final, and all tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Is it possible for the event to be cancelled?
Yes, but it rarely happens. We require a balanced gender ratio for the best experience. If this balance isn’t met, the event may be canceled. Participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance, and a full refund will be issued.
What exactly are “Guided 3-Minute Connections”?
Structured, faith-first conversation prompts — no awkward silence or small talk.
Is alcohol served?
Non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Alcohol is available for purchase if desired (most people stick to mocktails).
Are matches guaranteed?
While we strive to create a fun and meaningful experience for everyone, matches are not guaranteed. Connections are based on mutual interest, and as such, not grounds for a refund. We encourage participants to come with an open mind and great energy!
Do you vet attendees?
From our experience of running dozens of events, the majority of attendees at our events are sincere Christians who are looking for partners who share their faith. We understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of our gatherings, and we have implemented several vetting methods to ensure that. One way we do this is by openly communicating our Biblical values in our marketing efforts. By being transparent about our beliefs and expectations, we attract individuals who are genuinely interested in pursuing meaningful relationships based on those values. Additionally, we have a ticket price structure in place that acts as a deterrent to those who are seeking casual encounters. This helps create an environment where participants are more likely to be genuinely committed to the pursuit of long-term, faith-based relationships.
It's important to acknowledge that thoroughly vetting every individual who attends our events is not practical. Instead, we believe in empowering adult men and women to exercise their own discernment. The Bible itself emphasizes the importance of personal discernment in navigating relationships and warns against false prophets and deceitful individuals.
How does speed dating work?
Upon check-in, the ladies receive a table number and find their tables. These become their “home base” for the evening. They take their seats and settle in while the gentlemen gather nearby. Everyone is free to get drinks and appetizers before the rounds start. See event schedule for exact time.
Once all the ladies are seated, the host guides each gentleman to a table to start the first round. The host keeps track of the time and announces when it’s time to rotate to the next lady and directing them to their next seat.
Participants will chat with several singles in a fun series of short, one-on-one conversations lasting about 3 minutes each. At the end of the event, participants receive turn in their match cards and will receive mutual matches within 48 hours of the event.
What happens if a participant is late?
We encourage everyone to arrive at least 15 minutes early. This gives them time to grab a drink, get settled, and be ready to start on time. During this window, our host will be confirming arrivals and finalizing pairings for the dating rounds.
Arriving late can affect other participants, as someone might be left without a date during the first round. To ensure a smooth and fair experience for everyone, please do your best to arrive on time or early.
Guests arriving more than 15 minutes after the event officially begins will unfortunately not be able to participate, and no refund or credit can be issued.
